Abstract

Project Overview The Wenquanbao Reservoir is located in Wenquanbao Village, Funing County, in the middle reaches of Tanghe River, 15km north of Qinhuangdao City. The controlled watershed area above the dam site is 25 km2, and the total storage capacity is 697 10,000 m3, with an annual regulated water volume of 5.82 million m3. The normal water storage level of the reservoir is 166.30m, the design flood is once every 50 years, and the nuclear flood is once every 200 years. The dam site is a U-shaped valley, the foundation is slightly weathered granite, and the rock mass is complete. The elevation of the lowest point of the dam foundation is 122.5m. The thickness of the riverbed cover layer is 3 to 6m. Above the dam site is the deep mountainous area of ​​the Yanshan Mountains with good vegetation and an average annual rainfall of 700mm. The average annual runoff is 7.18 million m3. The maximum dam height of the reservoir is 48.0m, and it adopts a symmetrical single-arch structure with a fixed center, fixed outer radius, variable center angle, and variable inner radius.
