Abstract

"Shallow Groundwater Monitoring in Hebei Province Heilongjiang Agricultural Development Zone" was funded by the World Bank and jointly completed by the Hydrological Engineering and Chemical Exploration Institute of the Department of Geology and Mineral Resources of Hebei Province and the Geological Environment Monitoring Station. and Resource Assessment Report" passed the expert review on January 11, 1995. Heilongjiang Agricultural Development Zone is located in the central and southern part of the Hebei Plain, covering an area of ​​31,744 km. It is rich in land resources but very scarce in water resources. Historically, there have been droughts, floods and alkalis. Natural disasters occur frequently, affecting agricultural development. In order to accelerate agricultural development, increase agricultural production, increase farmers' income, and achieve poverty alleviation plans, Hebei Province has launched comprehensive agricultural development projects in the region funded by the World Bank. Shallow groundwater monitoring and resource evaluation is a sub-project of this project. The monitoring period is 3 years (1990-1992). The research results are part of the 38th and 57th national key scientific and technological projects of the "Sixth Five-Year Plan" and the "Seventh Five-Year Plan" "Research on Water Resources Evaluation, Development and Utilization in North China"
